BlueStone Webworks builds and operates a 24/7 AI phone receptionist ("AI Front Desk") for local service businesses — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and contractors — and optionally builds websites. This policy explains, in plain English, what information we handle, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers both visitors to our website and the businesses we serve, along with the callers who reach one of our AI systems.
01 Who this policy covers
- Website visitors & prospects — people who browse our site or submit an audit or contact request.
- Client businesses — the local service companies who hire us to run an AI Front Desk or build a website.
- Callers — the customers of a client business who call in and are answered by an AI receptionist we operate on that business's behalf.
02 Information we collect
- Contact & inquiry details. When you submit our audit or contact forms: your name, business name, phone number, email, and website if you share it.
- Client business information. To build and run your AI Front Desk, we collect the details you provide during onboarding — your services, hours, service area, pricing guidance, booking rules, and similar operating information.
- Phone call data. When the AI answers calls on your line, we process call details such as the caller's phone number, the date and time, and what the caller is asking about. Calls may be recorded and transcribed so the AI can answer, route, and book them, and so we can support and improve the service.
- Booking details from callers. When a caller books an appointment or leaves a message, we collect the contact and request details they provide — typically name, phone number, address or service location, and a description of the job.
- Website analytics. Our site uses standard analytics such as page views, approximate location, and device type.
03 How we use information
- To answer, route, and book calls for our client businesses, and to take messages and follow up on leads as configured.
- To build, train, operate, support, and improve the AI Front Desk and any website we build for you.
- To respond to inquiries, prepare a website preview you asked about, and communicate with you about our services.
- To keep the service reliable and secure, and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
We use information only to provide and support the service. We do not sell your information, and we do not sell or share callers' personal information.
04 Call recording & disclosure
To answer and book calls, the AI may record and transcribe them. Where recording occurs, a recording and automated-assistant disclosure is included in the greeting so callers are informed. Because caller-notification and consent rules vary by state and by how a business operates, the client business is responsible for ensuring the disclosure and any consent requirements applicable to its business are met — and we help configure the disclosure correctly.
SMS Text messaging & mobile numbers
- When a customer books an appointment with one of our client businesses (for example, by phone), we may send transactional SMS text messages such as booking confirmations, appointment reminders, and booking notifications.
- We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers, or any information collected for SMS, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are used only to deliver the messages described above.
- Message frequency varies and is transactional (typically tied to a booking or appointment).
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages, or HELP for help.
05 Your number and your customers' data belong to you
If you are a client business, your phone number and your customers' information remain yours. We act on your behalf to operate the service and use that information only to provide it. If you leave, you keep your data and we help you transition your line back. Callers who wish to exercise privacy rights over information tied to a specific business should contact that business, which owns the customer relationship; we will support our clients in responding to those requests.
06 Service providers
We rely on trusted third-party providers to run our infrastructure — for example, hosting, payment processing, telephony, and voice-AI technology. They process information only on our behalf and only to deliver the service, not for their own marketing. Your use of the service may also be subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies.
07 Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
08 How we store and protect information
We store information using industry-standard safeguards and limit access to the people who need it to serve you. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold and to keep the service secure and reliable.
09 How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here — to operate and support the service, maintain records, and meet legal obligations — after which we delete or de-identify it. Client businesses can ask us to return or delete data associated with their account, subject to any records we are required to retain by law.
10 Marketing communications
- We do not send marketing texts without your consent. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.
- You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in the message or by emailing us.
11 Your privacy rights
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it — just email phillip@bluestonewebworks.com.
California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it's used, to request access to or deletion of that information, to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information. To make a request, email us at the address above; we will verify and respond as required by law.
12 Children's privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will change, and material changes will be communicated. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
